Ocean Conversations: Extreme Sea Swimming

Join the Ocean Conservation Trust in our evening talks series, this time showcasing some of our amazing fundraisers. Adam and Charlie from EmergenSea Duo are a pair of extreme medicine doctors, taking on some of the most challenging adventures in the world to push their physical and mental boundaries. To date, they have rowed across the Atlantic, around the coast of the British Isles, and have recently returned from their latest challenge, swimming an ice kilometer at both poles.

This Ocean Conversations will be an opportunity to learn more about taking on some of the toughest challenges on Earth, and hear more about the extreme limits the human body can be pushed to.

Doors open at 17:30, with EmergenSea Duo speaking from 6pm, follwed by Q+A session. The event is expected to finish at 7:30pm. Doors will close shortly after speakers start, and latecomers will not be permitted entry.

Due to the nature of this event, it is most suitable for those who are over 12.

Please note, this event will have limited areas of the Aquarium open, including Eddystone, the top of our Atlantic Ocean and Biozone exhibit.
