Darwin200 Virtual STEMFest 2024 (EV)
Join us on the 22nd of October, for our free virtual STEMFest event!
After the success of last year, for the first time ever, we will be bringing back last year's theme of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. Students can expect ecological surveys, scientific drawings, and the opportunity to evolve their very own creatures, all from the comfort of their own classroom!
This year, we will also be joined by our friends from the Eden Project. Your learners will be guided on a tour of both the Ocean and the Rainforest biomes, they'll discover some amazing plants and animals, and get hands-on with practical conservation techniques.
After the tour, we will be inviting school groups from around the world to travel back in time to follow in the steps of Charles Darwin. Hosted live from the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, pupils can join an interactive workshop focusing on Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
Virtual STEMFest will run from 09.30-11.30 with a short break in the middle. (Please be aware that these timings are UK British Summer Time. If you are joining us from a different time zone, please check these timings in advance).
