Snorkel Safaris with the Ocean Conservation Trust
These sessions are for those who have snorkelled before or are confident swimming in the sea. Our Snorkel Safaris take places at Mount Batten- a rock shore habitat with kelp meadows and flooded rockpools! We’ll recap the basics of using our snorkel equipment before heading out into the big blue and seeing some amazing marine animals. Mount Batten is home to all sort of sea life, from blennies to jellyfish, eels to oystercatchers, there’s a real range of animals to see and habitats to explore.
Explore our amazing local shores with the help of our Ocean Discovery Rangers. Our team are all BSAC Snorkel Guides, as well as marine biologists and conservationists, meaning you can feel both safe and educated whilst exploring the Ocean.
Ages: 12 + (ages 12-16 do not need to be accompanied by an adult in the water, but an adult must be present on the beach throughout the session).
Locations: Mount Batten Beach, PL9 9SJ
